Azizi Zakaria – Teen Ambassador
 
With a good head start in year 2009, Azizi will continue with his journey. This year, spending more time on school visits, Azizi vowed to reach out to more school going children, educating and creating more awareness among them. Also, Azizi wants to educate children and teenagers that charity should be instilled from young. Through his fundraising efforts, he hopes to help lighten the burden of NKF dialysis patients.

Azizi & Leo members bring cheers to patients' in KAS/Rotary - NKF Dialysis Centre, Kuching

Azizi's passion for NKF kidney patients does not limit him only in West Malaysia but towards East Malaysia as well. The young lad expanded his charity wings over in Sarawak recently to bring cheers to NKF Kuching centre's patients and helping out whenever he could. Not forgetting, to create awareness for school going children by visiting schools in Kuching and with the help of Leo members, distributing leaflet in shopping malls.
 

TEEN AMBASSADOR VISITS DIALYSIS PATIENT
 
 
 

Hari Raya, a time for catching up with old friends and also reaching out to those in need, in some cases those less fortunate or poor. Ahmad Rafnan, a dialysis patient, was lucky enough to receive a visit from NKF's Teen Ambassador, Azizi an upcoming recording artist.

Rafnan said he was happy and overwhelmed at the gesture of support and affection from Azizi and also the suprise birthday cake for Nur Haslin Ikhmar, 12 year old daughter of Rafnan, who also celebrated her birthday on that day.

Azizi also presented them with a Raya hamper and Raya packets for the children, truly a wonderful gesture from Azizi, who constantly is in touch with the plight of dialysis patients. Rafnan said such a gesture has touched his family and he hoped to keep in touch with Azizi.
 

SAVE YOUR KIDNEYS CAMPAIGN BY TEEN AMBASSADOR AZIZI


The “Save Your Kidneys” Campaign was launched when Azizi visits schools and educate young school children and teachers, creating awareness on the importance of kidneys and their role in the human body as well as other related topics.

Azizi also help to raise funds through the sale of his own as well as NKF merchandise items.

BRINGING CHEER TO NKF DIALYSIS PATIENTS

Date : 2nd June 2009
Venue : PJ Dialysis Centre

Azizi’s appearance at NKF PJ Dialysis Centre brings smiles and cheers to the faces of dialysis patients that morning. Dialysis patients have to endure four hours of dialysis, three times a week but that day was brightened up with the presence of Azizi Zakaria, NKF's Teen Ambassador.

The new recording artist learns how to take blood pressure for the patients, how the dialysis machines works and understands the whole process of haemodialysis, thanks to the helps and briefing given by the dialysis centre nurse. Also, Azizi chatted with patients and helped to carry patients that are handicapped and have to move around in a wheelchair.

Our teen ambassador hopes to understand the process of haemodialysis and the patient's burden before embarking on a campaign to create awareness on the importance of our kidneys to the body.

 
 

NEW NKF TEEN AMBASSADOR - Azizi zakaria

A press conference was held to officially introduce NKF Teen Ambassador, Azizi Zakaria discovered during the DiGi CelebriTeen 2007.

A young lad who is keen to embark on doing charity, Azizi vows to bring out his best to create more awareness and reach out further to the public, targeting the younger generation.

 
 

NKF Teen Sensation

The Leo Club of Anderson School, Ipoh, Perak has spearheaded the fundraising activity for NKF through our teen ambassador, Azizi Zakaria. RM 548.00 was raised during Azizi’s press conference in Ipoh on 1st April 2009.

This young artist has release his first album titled “Kamu Semua” in March 2009.
Proceeds from his merchandize item will be donated to NKF.

As at May 2009, a total of RM 835.52 was raised and donated to NKF from Azizi’s merchandize. Thank you to this young and talented young lad!
