A dialogue session was held prior to the opening ceremony of the Kidney Care Awareness Programme. A total of 500 civil servants from the state of Johor attended the forum.

300 public attended the Public Forum. The occasion was lauched by Dato’ Lee Kah Choon. Five (5) Nephrologists spoke about Kidney Disease. An interesting discussion followed the forum.

The public also took the opportunity to visit the NKF booth. 300 NKF Kidney Health brochures & Newsletters were distributed.

An average of 300 staff visited the booth and viewed the posters available over the five days exhibition. 300 Kidney Health brochures and newsletters were distributed to the ASTRO staff. Health screening services had been provided during the exhibition and many staff were very appreciative of the services provided. A total of 20 staff signed up as ‘Organ Donors”.
